Hi Calvary Kids and Parents!

Please join us on Sunday mornings 7:45 am, 9:30am and 11:30am. Join us also on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm for worship and lessons from the Bible. Parents, you can arrive 15 minutes early to check in your child and get settled in class.

Note: If you, your child or a family member has symptoms of any illness (runny nose, fever, cough), please stay home so that we can keep our ministry workers and children protected from illness. You can also watch the service online, if you’re not able to join us physically.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY INFORMATION

We offer Children’s Ministry classes during our midweek and weekend church services at Calvary South OC for infants in the nursery, toddlers, and pre-k through 5th grade children.

Our service times are Sundays at 7:45AM, 9:30AM, and 11:30AM, as well at Wednesday nights at 7:00PM.

Nursery:
Ages birth to 24 months. Our ratio in the nursery is 2 babies per adult, so we may ensure a safe, loving environment for our infants.

A Nursing Mother’s Room is available for nursing mothers only in the nursery.

Toddlers – 5th Grade:
The toddler through 5th grade children meet in their age appropriate classes for welcome time, lesson introduction, and Bible verse memorization. PreK through 5th grades join together for worship then return to their classes for Bible lesson and reinforcement activities and games.

NEW! Classroom for Special Needs Children, 5-17 Years Old
Starting Sunday, October 15, we will have a classroom for children with special needs at 11:30am. Please bring your child to the second floor, room 211 to check in and fill out any required forms.

Check-in and Check-out:
You can check your child into Children’s Ministry 15 minutes before service starts and pick them up promptly when service ends. Your child’s safety is very important to us, so we require that the parent or authorized adult pick up the children with the guardian tag that has the child’s matching check-in number. Thank you! Stellar VBS 2023

We had such a blessed week of VBS this summer as the church came together to bless the children with fun, fellowship, games, and of course JESUS! Throughout the week the kids learned all the times we can SHINE JESUS’ LIGHT - when life feels dark, when people don’t get along, when people are sad, and when people need help. In the Bible Story rotation, the kids saw and heard stories from Jesus’ life and ministry. We are praying that the seeds that were planted this week will continue to grow in the children’s hearts and lives.

MONUMENTAL VBS 2022

The theme for VBS this year was Monumental. All week the children learned that our God is monumental in so many ways. The Bible points for the week were: God loves you no matter what, God is with you everywhere, God is in charge, God is stronger than anything, and God is surprising. Awesome God! In the Bible story room throughout the kids saw the story of Joseph acted out, which taught them these lessons about God. This week was such a blessing and we know that God will continue the good work He started in each child’s heart at VBS.
